I learned how to make Mont Blanc. Its consist of a tart base, almond cream, custard cream, chantilly cream and chestnut cream. So good !!!

Happy Mother's Day !!

I made a opera cake and decorated with macarons and chocolate curls for my mom for mother's day !

Recently, I have been making macarons after macarons !! Feels like I am in a macaron madness craze !! I made matcha macarons, salted caramel buttercream macarons and salted caramel macarons !!

Munchies Bakes !

Panda Sushi !!

I bought a panda kit sushi maker in Tokyo. Its so cute !! I made sushi rice, then i put the rice into the panda mould, cut out the seaweed and paste over the rice. So adorable !!

I made warabi mochi for my friends. I am glad they like it !! My mum and me love it very much !!

I learn how to make Japanese curry buns. Its really very nice !! After proofing the buns, we can either deep fried or bake the buns. I choose to deep fried. Its best eaten when its still piping hot !!

CNY Dinner !!

We invited our friends Alan, Grace, Francine, Tim, Melissa and Mag over for dinner. Its also Grace daughter's Francine birthday and its Valentine's day too !!  These are the dishes that i cooked. My friends took the photos for me. I am glad that everyone enjoyed the dinner and fellowship !!

Caramel Nuts Roll And Warabi Mochi

Belina and me went to learn how to make caramel nuts roll cake and warabi mochi. Its really very nice. We got to make caramel almonds, then when its cooled, we chopped it up. Before putting the chopped caramel nuts into the cake, we kept eating it !! So addictive....

I went for a desseet class recently. We made orange butter cake, matcha mousse and japanese roasted green tea jelly and toufu shiratama rice dumpling with hoji cha honey syrup. Its all very nice !!!

Strawberry Shortcake Roll Cake

I made a strawberry roll cake some time back after learning from Chef Aki. at Shermay's. I really love the texture. Its very soft and nice.

Blueberry Toufu Cheesecake

Its my sister in law and brother in law birthdays ! I decided to make a blueberry toufu cheesecake in cups instead of the usual cake like cheesecake. Happy Birthdays to Hoy Chin and Jason !!!

Panda Bread

I made panda bread using Perfect Panda website. Cant resist, its so cute !! But mine came out not so nice, the eyes kind of drop a bit, ear too. I will definitely try again soon.

After my japanese class, I practiced my dishes that i learned at home. I cooked pork breaded pork roll with shiso leave and preserved plum, chawanmushi and agedashi  toufu. My hubby loves it very much !!

Fig Tart

My friend Tsu Yee bought me a rectangular tart pan from Lemon Zest Shanghai. I really love it very much. Today i suppose to make strawberry tart, but when i went to the supermarket, i could not find any strawberries, but i found fresh fig instead !! I was so happy to see the fig. Tks Tsu Yee for the pan and i hope you like the fig tart I made for you !!
