Finally..... my 1st wedding cake !! Its was quite stressful as i got to bring all the covered cakes, roses, leaves.... in boxes to school. Thankfully my hubby drove me there & help me to carry to school. What a relief. Everyone was so happy when we all completed our course. I am taking the wilton class 3. For our 2nd lesson, we need to cover a square cake with fondant and put the ribbons and bow. Its quite scary when i have to turn over the fondant from the rolling mat to the cake !! But we all had lots of fun doing it. Ready parcel cake :)
Yesterday I made a matcha tiramisu for my family. My hubby gave me some decorating suggestions. He said, maybe i can decorate the cake with a soccer team, so I went to buy the soccer team toys, then i got him me to help to decorate it. I think he had lots of fun arranging the toys.
After learning how to make the roll cakes in my previous post, i decided to bake it at home. I made the matcha azuki roll cake. But i need more practise rolling up the cake, its not that easy.
Yesterday I went to learn matcha azuki roll cake and charlotte roll cake from Chef Lynn atTangs kitchen. I really love both cakes that she taught us. If you ask me which one i prefer...well i can't decide !! Charlotte roll cake ready to be eaten !! I can't bear to eat it :) Finger biscuit
