Rum and Raisin Cookies

I learned how to make Hokkaido rum and raisin cookies. Its so good !!! The filling is white chocolate with butter cream and rum soak raisins.

Mont Blanc

I learned how to make Mont Blanc. Its consist of a tart base, almond cream, custard cream, chantilly cream and chestnut cream. So good !!!

Panda Sushi !!

I bought a panda kit sushi maker in Tokyo. Its so cute !! I made sushi rice, then i put the rice into the panda mould, cut out the seaweed and paste over the rice. So adorable !!

Japanese Curry Buns

I learn how to make Japanese curry buns. Its really very nice !! After proofing the buns, we can either deep fried or bake the buns. I choose to deep fried. Its best eaten when its still piping hot !!

CNY Dinner !!

We invited our friends Alan, Grace, Francine, Tim, Melissa and Mag over for dinner. Its also Grace daughter's Francine birthday and its Valentine's day too !!  These are the dishes that i cooked. My friends took the photos for me. I am glad that everyone enjoyed the dinner and fellowship !!

Caramel Nuts Roll And Warabi Mochi

Belina and me went to learn how to make caramel nuts roll cake and warabi mochi. Its really very nice. We got to make caramel almonds, then when its cooled, we chopped it up. Before putting the chopped caramel nuts into the cake, we kept eating it !! So addictive....

Dessert Class

I went for a desseet class recently. We made orange butter cake, matcha mousse and japanese roasted green tea jelly and toufu shiratama rice dumpling with hoji cha honey syrup. Its all very nice !!!

Pork Roll Set

After my japanese class, I practiced my dishes that i learned at home. I cooked pork breaded pork roll with shiso leave and preserved plum, chawanmushi and agedashi  toufu. My hubby loves it very much !!

I went to learn japanese cooking fm Chef Aki. We cooked deep fried pork roll with shiso leave and preserved plum, chawanmushi, agedashi toufu and miso soup. Its really delicious !!

Hana Zuzhi !

Me, Belina and Nellis learned Hana Zuzhi (flower sushi) form Chef Aki. According to Chef Aki, it is a speciality of Chiba perfecture where she came from. Its is usually made during ceremonial occasions. We decided to learn this cos it is so pretty !!! We gals love pretty stuff !! We made rose and tulip sushi. For lunch, we had handrolls and for dessert, Aki served us tomato cheese cake. Its very nice !!!

Oyako Don

I learned how to cook Oyako don set. Its a chicken and egg with rice. It comes with simmered pek chye, carrot and mushroom and for the soup, we cooked tonjiru soup. This is a pork miso soup. Its our favourite soup. After I learned, I cooked it at home. My hubby loves it very much !!
