CNY Dinner !!

We invited our friends Alan, Grace, Francine, Tim, Melissa and Mag over for dinner. Its also Grace daughter's Francine birthday and its Valentine's day too !!  These are the dishes that i cooked. My friends took the photos for me. I am glad that everyone enjoyed the dinner and fellowship !!

CNY Cookies

Here are my cookies that i made this year. Clockwise from top left: pineapple tarts, corn flakes cookies, pineapple tarts, tom yum cookies, nasi lemak cookies, caramel alomnds (centre).

Caramel Nuts Roll And Warabi Mochi

Belina and me went to learn how to make caramel nuts roll cake and warabi mochi. Its really very nice. We got to make caramel almonds, then when its cooled, we chopped it up. Before putting the chopped caramel nuts into the cake, we kept eating it !! So addictive....

Dessert Class

I went for a desseet class recently. We made orange butter cake, matcha mousse and japanese roasted green tea jelly and toufu shiratama rice dumpling with hoji cha honey syrup. Its all very nice !!!

Fig Tart

My friend Tsu Yee bought me a rectangular tart pan from Lemon Zest Shanghai. I really love it very much. Today i suppose to make strawberry tart, but when i went to the supermarket, i could not find any strawberries, but i found fresh fig instead !! I was so happy to see the fig. Tks Tsu Yee for the pan and i hope you like the fig tart I made for you !!

Pork Roll With Shiso Leave And Preserved Plum

I went to learn japanese cooking fm Chef Aki. We cooked deep fried pork roll with shiso leave and preserved plum, chawanmushi, agedashi toufu and miso soup. Its really delicious !!

Snowskin Mooncakes !!

Keisia and me made out last batch of snowskin mooncakes last Fri. We made green tea, lavender lotus, yam, hong kong milk tea, durian lotus, champagne and brandy truffle.
